topic Hp ML370 G3 - Boot order in ProLiant Servers (ML,DL,SL)

On three occasions now after I reboot my server the boot order has changed. I no longer looks to my 532 controller to boot and fails. I have to go into the raid utility and set the boot order and then reboot again. Why is this happening. Do I need to upgrade the bios or something. Thanks

Hello David,
It should not happen. But it's always a good idea to upgrade the system bios. Here is the link:

http://h18007.www1.hp.com/support/files/server/us/download/19820.html

Please set the BOOT CONTROLLER order by going in F9 after you update the BIOS. Please let me know as to how you make out.

Regards,
