Can smart start be installed after initial OS Install.

I am trying to sort a customer, who's previous company did not use smart start to load Windows or RAID configuration. I need to see the RAID Configuration etc. Is it possible to install the Smart Start after the OS install?

Hi,

I cannot be possible to install smart start now.Where as to veiw and further configure you can install acu from hp. It is a windows based application to manage raid on server.

As Prashant stated, you can't install the SmartStart CD after configuration. However, you can install the Proliant Support Pack at any time. PSP installs the agents, drivers, and other items (like survey and version control). Amongst those items is ACU (Array Configuration Utility). So, go to this web page and grab the latest for your particular OS and run the install: http://h18004.www1.hp.com/products/servers/management/im/downloads.html
