ML350 "CPU Fan Status" Amber LED

I have a new Proliant ML350 and the system board shows an amber LED for the "CPU Fan Status" There is a single CPU installed. I am wondering if this LED is actually for the second CPU slot and is amber because there is no 2nd CPU installed. Can anyone verify this?

Is this an ML350 G3. If it is, a missing 2nd CPU will not caues an amber LED. An amber on the CPU fan status LED on a ML350 G3 indicates a problem with the CPU fan - this is the fan at the back.

Server Model is ML 350 G1/2/3. which when we are looking information for.

If it is ML350 g3 as u said it is a new server check for attache doccument

Since we have the raod map to loate the led pattern might be, we will be able to eliminate the problem.
