APIC is "Advanced Programmable Interrupt Controller". This controls how the systems and multiple CPUs interact with each other (timing, Interrupts...etc...). It needs to be set properly for the system and OS involved. For Win2K and NT it's usually "Full Table, Mapped" or "Full Table" (in the case of very old systems and firmware - it may be "EISA Mapped").<BR /><BR />Other OS' may have different requirements.
