I checked that out too but now I installed this O.S. on three other systems total of Five and I get the error on all Five. Hopefully it is a software bug but when I called microsoft they said they are not supporting this O.S. yet since it is still in Beta just wondering if anyone else has seen this problem
Hi

Just looked on www.eventid.net

Could this help ?

Regards

Victor

Event ID: 106
Source WMIxWDM
Type Warning
Description Machine Check Event reported is a corrected error.
Comments Christoph Weber (Last update 4/2/2004):
In my case, this warning was followed many times the previous error (source: WMIxWDM, Event ID: 107). On Windows Server 2003 the error id 107 was caused by a defective CPU (processor); replacing the CPU solved the problem.
Adam,
Could you post the full detail of these event id errors?
I would also recommend posting this issue to the HP ITRC Microsoft 2003 forum:

http://forums1.itrc.hp.com/service/forums/categoryhome.do?categoryId=278

I just finished a DL740 quad-processor unit with Win2k3 srvr. Machine Check ID 106 and Popup event ID 26.
HP diagnostics reported no errors on cpu or memory, will only give machine check under OS. System will blue screen some time later with an NMI parity error.
Removed all cpu's and tested booting OS 1 CPU at a time. After testing multiple times CPU1 was the failing unit.
Try dropping to 1 cpu.
