Hi,

Have you performed a NMI reset by pressing the NMI reset switch found on the motherboard. Take a look in the proliant ML370 server guide.

Otherwise, I would lean towards replacement of the motherboard.

Regards,

My configuration:
ML 370 G3 (BIOS 5/1/2004) 2x 3.66 GHz 2GB RAM
2x SA5304 (V 3.54) with one dual ch U3 enclosure on each
1x SA6402 (V 1.92)with one dual ch U320 enclosure
1x NC7770 in team with on-board NC7781

I get the following blue screen message cca once per day:

Bug ID:
Bugcheck String: 0x000000d1 (0x000537b4, 0x00000002, 0x00000001, 0x82530297)
Comment: 0x000000d1 (0x000537b4, 0x00000002, 0x00000001, 0x82530297)

Versions of BIOS are up to date. Support pack is 7.0. System disks are on SA5300

I try to:
-disabe Hyper threading
-deploy support pack back to 6.40
-replace RAM
-replace internal cage
-upgrade BIOS to 5/1/2004
-replace the system board
Nothing solve the problem.

BSOD analysis with no specific result.

If I migrate configuration on ML370 G3 with one 2.8 GHz Xeon (board is different than those for 3.66 GHz Xeon) system works fine (without BSOD)
Server is used for backup (lot of file transfer).

Looks like a system board issue. Any idea?
Please help.

I tested this configuration in lab (without SA controlers)about a week with both processor on full usage and no BSOD.

I allready replaced the system board but similar issue. Not BSOD but restart. Board was repaired and sent by HP (could be faulty).

Configuration of controllers.

SLOT 1 NIC
SLOT 2 SA5304 (port 1 internal storage, port 3 and 4 external Dual ch storage box)
SLOT 3 SA6400 (port 1 and 2 external dual ch U320 storage box)
SLOT 4 SA5304 (port 1 and 2 external dual ch storage box)
