how to activate RAID PCI card in Proliant DL 140 ?

Hi

I have bought the proliant DL 140
manufacturer specs said that there is a RAID IDE PCI card integrated in it.
How to install the RAID service

I went in the Bio and i did not see any information regarding installing RAID

So i installed Win 2003 server on Disk 0 and disk 1 is still unformated

I can activate win 2003 mirroring to disk 1 but it will consume lot of ressources.

Does anyone knwo how to install/activate the RAID service on this machine ?

Where as it comes with
Integrated Dual Channel Ultra ATA/100 Adapter (ATA Models)
No hardware RAID for same.

What he is telling you is that you have incorrectly understood the DL140 Specification. The controller is not RAID. It is a standard IDE drive controller with no RAID capabilities. There is not even a RAID controller option.
You would have to add a IDE ATA100/133 RAID adapter. The adapter would have to have a configurable BIOS to allow it to take over the Boot device, like the Adaptec product.
