I have this error on all the server DL580 OS Win2k:
Source: CpqArry2. Event ID: 15. Description: the device, \Device\SCSI\cpqArry21 is not ready for access yet.
The RomBios is dated 21/1/2001. The firmware of the array is 1.42. Smart Start 4.90B. Any ideas? Thanks a lot. Matteo

Does it only happen during startup of Win2k? If so, it's Win2K... the OS is trying to access the array before the driver can finish loading.

I have this same issue happening on all of my Compaq DL580 servers also. Now that we know that it is an issue with Win2K trying to access the array before the driver can finish loading, is there a way to prevent the driver from loading until it is ready? Thanks in advance!

I have the same error on a DL580 using Windows 2000 Advanced Server Service Pack 1, with a SMART Array 4200 version 1.30A. Is there a fix to this?
