Have got the server into a state where I have a fixed IP address and mask assigned to the NC3123 but am trying to assign a fixed IP address, mask and default gw to the NC3163 but find the port is disabled when you look at ipconfig, and status -&gt; support yields <UNAVAILABLE> dispite the Network connections telling me the port is enabled.<BR /><BR />In addition when I go into TCP/IP properties and enter the manual config and hit close the box asks to reboot, and promply reverts the port to the DHCP config! Do I have to take out the NC3123 and enter the NC3163 IP config?</UNAVAILABLE>

Have you reinstalled the network driver for the NIC? Is this a clean installation?
