proliant 800 missing config sys when tyring to install system configeration

Hello Im trying to reinstall the system configeration utilties and make the eisa partition on a proliant 800 dual ppro 200
it seems every time i install linux if i dont watch what im doing it will kill the eisa partition . There used to be a full guide with step by step help with the system configeration utilty where is it ?. Any ways every time i boot on 1st of the config util flopies it tells me bad or missing config.sys iv try to copy and make config.sys but getting no where....I have been theu this before its just been so long since I have tinkerd with it

here is the latest System config utlity on floppies; and can also use the one from smart start 5.50 ; with manual install.

Compaq System Configuration Utility

Don't know if that is all you need.

that is what im trying to install but every time i try to boot on the first flopy it tells me bad config.sys bad line or missing.
both drives in this machine have no partitions on them . I dont know what im doing wrong its worked before

Have you tried different diskettes? You may just have a bad one.

Alternatively, you can pull a floppy drive from a workstation and plug that in... if the disk boots, you know you have bad hardware.
