Example cp005285 Online ROM Flash component for Windows - HP Integrated Lights-Out
version 1.70 (23 Feb 05)

It appears to work in that the firmware is upgraded...but the script failes...I suspect the return code of 3 may mean successful but I cannot reference it.

How do we find what the return codes are?

The return codes for Smart components can be found in the HP ProLiant Support Pack and Deployment Utilities User Guide. The 7.20 version can be found here:
http://h18007.www1.hp.com/support/files/server/us/WebDoc/720/psp-users-guide.pdf

RDP expects the return code to be 0 for success and non-zero for a failure which is not what the component returns. You can solve this problem with an extra command line parameter to the component.

Try this: cp005285.exe /s /dosretcode

The "/dosretcode" parameter will tell the component to return a zero(0) for success and a one(1) for failure.
