The Integrated Array Controller supports single LUN devices on port 1 (single DAT and DLT drives) provided the operating system driver supports the use of those devices.

Linux does not support the use of tape drives on port 1 of the Integrated Array Controller. If you wish to use the tape drive, you will either need to use a different array controller with the hard drives and remove the Integrated Array Controller or use a slotted SCSI controller for the tape drive.
