To upgrade the System ROM , download the System ROMPAQ or Option ROMPAQ for the Server , from the web . Create the ROMPAQ Diskette , down server and cold boot server with diskette in diskette drive .

System ROMPAQ and Option ROMPAQ's are not OS specific .

How do I go about upgrading the ROM on my hardware under W2K? Can I use the AS 4.7 DC NTSSD? Given that it is for TN 4 I don't want to try it without someone from Compaq advising me that it is OK. Are there any special procedures required to do this under W2K?
