Joshua , did you read notes for DL 140 G2
HP Insight Diagnostics Offline Edition?
In spite of notes talk about USB disk-on-keys -- maybe same for USB CD-ROM.
http://h18013.www1.hp.com/support/files/server/us/download/23182.html
From Notes:
"Not all USB disk-on-keys (DOK) will work properly. Most DOKs work correctly; however, some DOKs may cause the diagnostics to stop responding during the startup (boot) process and some are not configured even when loaded. "
Hi,

I am attempting to run the insight diagnostics on a DL140 G2.

There is no floppy or CD-Rom drive.

I have tried connecting a USB CD-ROM drive, and the Insight Diagnostics CD boots but hangs on the "loading drivers" screen.

Any ideas appreciated.

Thanks for that link.
I don't beleive the issue is the CD-ROM drive, as I have just tested and found that a Windows install CD WILL boot successfully.
