Yep, we do have an option to boot to an ISO image, looks like this is exactly what I'm after.

Thanks very much for your help.

Does anyone know if there is a way to run the Insight Diagnostics Offline Edition without using the Smartstart CD? Our servers are at a datacenter in London and we are charged if we have to ask our server host to put the CD in!
We also Remote Lights Out -is it possible to use this somehow to do the same tests that are on the Smartstart CD?

Isn't there an ISO image for SmartStart available for download?

What you do is download the ISO onto your server. Then, reboot the server to the ISO image using the iLO Virtual CD feature (assuming you have the license for that...).

Or, sorry, you said Remote Lights-Out. Does it have a feature to boot with virutal media? Then you're all set.

What feature of Insight Diags Offline did you want to run anyway? If it's just the Survey portion - then you can load it "online" and run it.
