Monitoring SATA RAID controller on Proliant ML110 G2

If I use the built in SATA RAID controller with a Proliant ML110 G2 how do I monitor it? If a fault condition occurs on one of the drives how does it alert me of this ? Is there some additional software that I need to load when I have built the OS on the RAID configured disk ?

I think there are no PSP for ML 110 (and for all 1xx Proliant servers)

than only System and Application LOG for SATA Event - will be used

The HP Storage Manager at this link seems to work with this raid controller.
