Hi Cynthia,

This is done by entering the Rom Based Setup Utility RBSU by pressing F9 at POST.

I've copied the section you need from the main menu and attached it to this reply.

I hope this helps.

Brian

I have a DL380 G4 that I mistakenly changed the BIOS Interface mode to CLI. I want to change it back to Auto and can't seem to find the syntax to do so. If anyone out there knows the syntax please advise. Thank you, Cynthia

If you have accidentally set the CLI to enabled, at the 'rbsu>' prompt execute

SET CONFIG BIOS INTERFACE MODE x

where 'x' is:

1 for Auto CLI Enable (detects if there's a serial device acting as console and sets appropriately)
2 for Command-Line Enabled (where you probably are now)
3 for Command-Line Disabled

So, you probably want to do

SET CONFIG BIOS INTERFACE MODE 3 [ENTER]
EXIT [ENTER]
