MSDE 2000 and SQL 2005 Express on one machine

Is it possible to have these two services on one machine? I notice that my server(Proliant ML 370 G4 with Windows 2000 Server) requires MSDE 2000 SP3a (for Insight Manager) and don't know it there will be a conflict if I will install it (or is it possible to have these on the same machine) or I will just install the 2005 version since it was the replacement of MSDE. Hoping for your response.

SQL 2005 and SQL 2000 can be installed on same server, I think MSDE 2000 and SQL 2005 Express will work on same server as well.
Regarding SQL 2005 and Insight manager 5 see David Claypool answer in this thread

I just receive a reply from MSNewsgroup and he posted that MS SQL Server 2005 express edition attempts to upgrade MSDE. Need comment on this.

I think you can install SQL 2005 Express as another Named Instance
