topic PL800 : seeking docs, and an upgrade question in ProLiant Servers (ML,DL,SL)

I have a late model Proliant 800 with 100 MHz FSB, running dual PII-450 CPUs.

First, I seem to have misplaced my PDF of the hardware guide (both setup/install or hardware maintenance would be appreciated). The HP appears to steer me toward older 800 docs, with the Pentium Pro CPU. I need the later docs for the Proliant 800.

Also, I'm looking at upgrading the CPUs. Can I simply plug in one or two Compaq 500, 550 or 600 MHz P-3 CPU and be good to go? Are the voltages the same, that is, will I be able to use the same VRMs? And I also sort of recall that the P3 CPU upgrade requires a heat baffle to help route the internal air flow over the CPU heat sinks. Is that correct, and if so, what is the part #? (One of the reasons I need the PDF docs!)

Thank you!

Jim
