Now I want to add one more Processor of the same speed 2.8 GHz.

Is it necessary that 2nd processor cache memory should be 512 MB.

what if it is 1MB cache memeory on the processor.

mixing CPU is not supported on all systems, you can try it should not harm, maximum POST Error or hangs on the POST, Keep System ROM up to date. Most likely in ML150 you need same cache

I tried installing the 2nd processor but server didn't boot and it get stucks after booting.

Then I replaced the original 1st processor and installed this new processor in place of that, again server did not boot.

This server must support the processor as I got it from HP supplier.

Or in other way, the supplier may have given me the wrong product.
