hi to all im new to this forum:
i have a little problem.:
i have found on my old house a compaQ proliat 1600
2x450mhz
400mbram
5x10gbHD hot swap ecc....

my problem is this:
the pc work fine...but when i start the server..the server cannot find the 5 hard disk.. because they arent configured...
so i read... i must use compaq array configuring utility... but when i set up floppy.. and start compaq array utility..
the program say me:
there isnt a compaq array 3200 inside pc..
why that error?
the pc find my array... but program no.. and so i cannot configured my array...
pls pls pls help me...

Try to use old version of Smart Start CD or
download it from here:
http://h18023.www1.hp.com/support/files/server/us/download/22678.html
Boot and configure server using this CD.

i have just download it...
and copy to a CD...with program alchool...

but...cd dont wanna start at boot...

theree is a particular tipe for copy cd?
or simple copy iso to cd like nero do....

but the cdrom work.. because i can start other iso. like debian bsd..

i have donwload it.. and copy the iso to cd--
but dont want start.. at boot..

that cd is an iso for WINDOWS .. or is an utility on boot pc compaQ?

It is bootable CD. If your server not boot - check your (just bourned) cd or check hardware.

hardware boot..and work because i can boot all other kind of operative sistem.. debian bsd ecc..

i must retrying to burn iso to a new Cd..
with nero..
