topic install winxp on ML310 in ProLiant Servers (ML,DL,SL)

install winxp on ML310

I have a ML310 with RAID 1 ATA configuration. Is it possible to install WINxp?
I put in the winxp pro disk and it get stuck on "starting windows" after loading all the drivers.
Or do I need to install special raid driver? Where is the driver?

If you are unable to find the driver downloadable link,post the server generation,i'll give it a try.

Also forgot to mention that xp is not a supported OS.

currently it does not have any OS on it.
ML310, ATA 100 raid. 2 80Gig drives.

I guess it was the original oldest ML310.
Is it possible to install winxp?

This is the only driver link i could find atm,however it can'nt be used while installation.So the best bet is to slipstream.SP will have the controller driver.

PS: Not supported means not tested.

I don't understand the slip-install. I cannot even do a normal install. I want to put the OS on the raid 1.

Slipstreaming is nothing but adding SP and controller driver to the base OS.
