I've a ML350 with four 72.8 hot swap HDDs with a raid 5 controller.
am running win2K advanced server on it.
the problem I have is that the machine get's heated up even if one little process is running on it.
for eg. if I put in <DIR> on to a loop, the machine would reach critical tempreture within a matter of less than 120 seconds.
what do I do ?
help</DIR>

Any Post Errors?

Also check the Heatsink from the CPUs!
Which Generation are u using?

Please check also the following Article if u're using a Generation 1 Server
http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/Document.jsp?objectID=PSD_EL010712_CW01

Furthermore, check if the Health Agents are up2date and if the firmware is the latest.

Regards
Mike
