The only way I can get it to search is to set the maintenance <BR />switch on. It will then boot to the smart setup cd. But it will not load <BR />because the switch is on and tells me to turn it off. When I do that it will <BR />not look for the a drive or the cd rom. The system nolonger has a setup <BR />partition. Was there a setup partition originally? What System ROM your Proliant 3000 is at this time? Was there any ROM flashes applied? When was devices noticeable as being inoperable? Check IDE cables &amp; power connectors to devices.
