Blade C-Class OA serial connector

Hello,
I have a problem using the serial connector on the Onboard Administration module: I get no prompt. Tried different speed...I would like to use this connection to assign ip adresse on SAN switch.

cable that u use one that cable with enclosure ?
firmware for OA ?
can it be assigned from switch itself ?

Thank's for the reply.
The cable looks OK since i used it to configure an external SAN switch.
I configured the recommended 9600/8bits/no parity/no flow control but i just can't get any prompt.
There is no serial connector on the switch itself.

had you press space bar or enter ?
can you access to different OA ? 2nd Enclosure?

Firmware of OA is 1.01
Yes "enter" has been pressed...
We don't have a seconbd OA/enclosure
Any other idea?

I had not really dig down for IP settings for Switches, however does it gave you option from graphical Console in OA?

What type of SAN switch you use?

Check if you can do with telnet or ssh

I configured the switch (4/24 c-class specific) with telnet. I'll try the firmware upgrade.

firmware upgraded to 1.20 and changed the serial cable. OK now!
