Hi Heath,

Your problem sounds very similar to this recent posting on the forum.

http://forums1.itrc.hp.com/service/forums/questionanswer.do?threadId=1107561

There doesn't appear to be confirmation of the solution on this one other than the possibility that the Lights-Out module LO100i firmware upgrade may have caused it.

There were mouse related fixes in firmware V2.12A. If you have this version, you can downgrade to an older version from this link. (Have a look at the history for each update).

http://h18023.www1.hp.com/support/files/server/us/revision/9642.html

You can also load new system BIOS and drivers from here if required.

http://h18023.www1.hp.com/support/files/server/us/locate/69_6264.html

I hope this helps.

Brian

Fresh build of Windows server 2003 SP2

I am using an integrated HP Keyboard/Mouse and HP KVM switch.

Whenever I reboot the server the mouse is frozen in the centre of the screen, if I unplug the mouse connection and plug in a normal PS2 mouse all is ok.

If I then reconnect the KVM mouse this works normally until I re-boot the server again.

Has anyone else seen this problem or know of a fix?
