Hello,
I have 2 servers Proliant ML530
First has: Raid 1+2 at SmartArray 641 and speed for reading/writing - 50/9 Mb/s
Second server has: Raid 5 at SmartArray 641 and speed for reading/writing - 50/6 Mb/s
Cache ratio - 100/0% for reading/writing
How I can change cache ration?
Why we have low speed for writing at both servers?
write speed depends, also, of the number of HDDs you are using.

in order to change the "cache ratio" in write mode, ... depend if you have installed the optional 64MB of cache with BBWC.

take a look at this link:

http://h18004.www1.hp.com/products/servers/proliantstorage/arraycontrollers/smartarray641/index.html

bye

TJK
Thanks for information.
But usual IDE drive has 60Mb/s for record.
Why 6 SCSI (10K RPM) in RAID 1+0 has lower speed?
BWWC is additional device for Controller?

9 MB/sec it's a very low speed ...
you are right.
