ML370 R01 Smartstart CD?

Hello

If I try too use the Smartstart 5.50 CD it just says some error and then halt. If I try the 7.0 ver it says my server isnt supported, and I cant find the 6.* version somewhere, so what version should I have!?

Hi Jeff

try first updating the server with the firmware CD

after that try again Smartstart 5.50

what kind of error are you getting? what does it say?

But im maybe getting this wrong, when should i use this CD? before or after I have booted a OS?

ok why don't you try installing windows manually?

Well im not going to use windows...

But do someone now why the smartstart cd dosent work? and where do i get the 6.** series of smartstart?

I tried to look for SS 6.xx mmm too difficult
I found some pages describing it but no link at all.

well another thing according with the SS matrix 6.xx is not supported in that server
