Hi All,

Probably a simple question.
How to log in into the ilo of a brand new DL-140 G3?

If set-up the ilo port in the bios and can access it. According to a not on the hp site the default login password is:
Administrator
<LAST eight="" digits="" serial="">

Should be simple. However i fail to login.
So when my serial is: GB8732R51N what would be the password?
Would it be 8732R51N? Because that's failing.

Anyway maybe some of you can help

Patrick</LAST>

Akarsh,

Points assigned :)

Wong: do you have an ilo port at the machine to start with.
It's an option at the advanced tab in the systems bios. Default settings are aquire ip by dhcp and allow all services. So if you don't want to bring the server down maybe attaching it to a network with a dhcp server makes it visible?

Patrick
