I was having issues with the floppy so I disabled it in the config but now I need to do a system erase and I need to be able to boot from the floppy as the smartstart CD's will show the startup screen and then go black.

How can i turn the floppy back on without the config system being installed correctly?

Hello !
The Erase Utility provides cleans your server system by deleting all data on attached storage. The Erase Utility is available on the boot environment of the SmartStart CD, under the Maintenance Tab. This utility also clears non-volatile RAM (NVRAM).

This feature DOES NOT REQUIRE A FLOPPY DISK !

Regards,
James.
