topic DL 385 G2 doesn't shutdown on Win2003 server in ProLiant Servers (ML,DL,SL)

I can't get this server to shutdown thru win2k3 even when i select shutdown, select an option(Planned hardware maintenance), and add a comment. It just restarts/reboots server. The only way to shut it down is to manually push the power button off when it tries to reboot. What is going on here? I do have the PSP 7.87 installed, so not sure if that was causing it. Also, the ILO2 is disabled. Thanks for any info!!!

I've found this thread on it, but man this is more confusing as the real culprit.

http://forums1.itrc.hp.com/service/forums/questionanswer.do?threadId=1128223

Has anyone tried to just revert to PSP 7.7 and it allowed for shutdown?

Ok. Here is what i noticed. I have PSP 7.8. If i enable the other nic port that i'm not using, it will shut down normally. If i disable the other unused port, it will reboot. I guess the solution is to enable the other port eventhough it is not currently being used.
