      <description>Hello,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Either its the DIMM or the system board. Try another set of DIMMs. Try the MINIMUM configuration.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Ideally, I would think its the DIMM at fault.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Regards.</description>

      <description>no memory, ...no beep, same error, is there any other option the only thing i realy realy want is getting my data back, since the backup had`nt been done for 2 weeks,...HELP!!!&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;btw after the error on screen wich doesnt change and seems 2b stuck, the system is doing its thing(without beeps) and gives all 8 Harddisks a green led and sounds as if everything is working fine.</description>

I mean&lt;BR /&gt;is it POSTing?&lt;BR /&gt;is there video?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;is it haging on POST? on memory check?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;something else if you are worry about the data, what is the storage controller for that server?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;regards</description>

      <description>Hi,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I've seen a parity check 2 error on older Proliants with a faulty NIC card.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Put the memory back in and empty the PCI slots, inlcuding any Raid controller.  With the PCI slots empty see if you still get the error.  If you don't then install the cards back in one by one until it appears again.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I hope this helps.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Brian</description>
