How do I expand a volume which is configured as raid 0 ???

HI, my client has a MSA 500 with several drives. Only 2 disks have been configured as Raid 0+1. All other disks are raid-0. All the disks are 36GB in size. Now the client wants to expand the size of 2 Raid-0 disks by adding 2 more 36 GB drives to the array. How do I achieve this. I have only done a migration from raid-0 to Raid-1, but have never done an expansion from 36 GB to 64GB. Is it achievable??

Yes, it is achievable. Just click on the array that you want to expand and follow the steps in the array configuration utility.

Yes, you can expand the array with the unused disks attached to the controller. You can add any number of drives to the array (expand) using the Array Configuration Utility.

Once the expansion is complete, extend the RAID 0 logical drive to include the free space.

yes if you controller is expand/extend capable you can extend your RAID 0
