    <description>For us when this happened, we were able to turn ASR off, and when we hit the ILO interface we always saw the screensaver going.  We have no monitors/keyboards hooked up.  I stumbled across this article at Microsoft.       <description>&lt;!--!*#--&gt;I continue to have server reboots and in the logs this is what i get.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;  1  POST Error: A Critical Error occurred prior to this power-up 4/4/2008 1:34PM 4/4/2008 1:34PM 1 &lt;BR /&gt;  2  ASR Detected by System ROM 4/4/2008 1:34PM 4/4/2008 1:34PM 1 &lt;BR /&gt;  3  PCI Bus Error (Slot Unknown, Bus 0, Device 30, Function 0) 4/4/2008 1:32PM 4/4/2008 1:32PM 1 &lt;BR /&gt;  4  POST Error: A Critical Error occurred prior to this power-up 4/2/2008 6:59AM 4/2/2008 6:59AM 1 &lt;BR /&gt;  5  ASR Detected by System ROM 4/2/2008 6:59AM 4/2/2008 6:59AM 1 &lt;BR /&gt;  6  PCI Bus Error (Slot Unknown, Bus 0, Device 30, Function 0) 4/2/2008 6:57AM 4/2/2008 6:57AM 1 &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Can some please shed some light on this issue.       <description>hi&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;does server have all updates?&lt;BR /&gt;latest proliant support pack 8.0?&lt;BR /&gt;latest firmware Cd 8.0?&lt;BR /&gt;if not apply that.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;also if you have PCI cards, you can try reseating PCI cards (take out put it back again)&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;and if the issue continue might a faulty PCI card or faulty PCI slot.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;regards &lt;BR /&gt;</description>

      <description>Hello Danny,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Do you find anything in the event logs ?&lt;BR /&gt;If you turn off the ASR option in BIOS; you will be able to capture the memory dumps.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Or least, run the HP diagnostics.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;:) Regards.</description>

      <description>General Proliant DL580 ASR notes:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Disable ASR if you don't need the server to reboot after a hang/freeze/lockup/blue screen so you can capture a full memory dump and have it analyzed (e.g. by Microsoft.) You may have to configure the system or registry to do a full memory dump.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;On a Proliant DL580 G4 with a large L3 cache, disable the HP Insight "host information" subagent if using a Proliant Support Pack released before June 2008 (e.g. PSP 8.0).</description>
