the management software should not be an issue...you are clicking on the two partitions and then creating mirror and it is doing what? is it giving errors messages or what are the symptoms...

I am trying to do a software mirror of two drives under Windows NT Server and the drives do not mirror properly. I have checked out the Microsoft Support site and I found some articles talking about the Compaqs Management Software, articles Q96735 and Q162846. I have tried to stop some services as suggested by the Microsoft articles without any success. If anyone knows how to get a successful mirror done under NT, please write back.

Thanks,
Robert
