We have a DL180 G5 Server, It has an NC110T installed and also a NC105I installed. The NC105i when installed was recoginized as a Broadcom gigabit ethernet adapter but now is just a NC105i. I want to use teaming on the interfaces but only the nc110t shows up in the teaming configuration manager. How do I get both NIC's to show up for teaming?
Also do I have to reinstall the NC105i to make it display as a broadcom adapter?

This works also under w2008x64.

Did you try install something besides w2008x64? If so, pls let me know - I have been trying to install w2003x64 for a week without success.
Did you install w2008x64 on embedded RAID? Pls let know version of raid driver you used - I could installed my w2008x64 only on single disk.

Hi!

This NC105i is a broadcom NIC. Just make sure you have the correct Driver depending on you OS and the latest Network Configuratin Utility. Those links are for Windows Server 2003 32bits. Select the OS in the Next Link and download the latest driver and NCU.

http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/DriverDownload.jsp?lang=en&cc=us&prodNameId=3659899&taskId=135&prodTypeId=329290&prodSeriesId=3659898&submit.y=6&submit.x=5〈=en&cc=us

HP NC-Series Broadcom Driver for Windows Server 2003:
http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/SoftwareDescription.jsp?lang=en&cc=us&prodTypeId=329290&prodSeriesId=3659898&prodNameId=3659899&swEnvOID=1005&swLang=8&mode=2&taskId=135&swItem=MTX-6173f3411386424db22c18717d

HP Network Configuration Utility for Windows Server 2003
http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/SoftwareDescription.jsp?lang=en&cc=us&prodTypeId=329290&prodSeriesId=3659898&prodNameId=3659899&swEnvOID=1005&swLang=8&mode=2&taskId=135&swItem=MTX-f9af4e1c325840beb58658c81d

Regards,
Hi!

I was doing a research regarding this driver. In order to get this driver you need to download the Proliant Support Pack Version 8.00 for Windows Server 2008 32bits, wich contains all the drivers for Windows Server 2008 32bits. Then you extract all the files and there is going to be a file "cp008496.exe" this is the NC Series Broadcome Driver.

http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/SoftwareDescription.jsp?lang=en&cc=us&prodTypeId=15351&prodSeriesId=397634&prodNameId=3288132&swEnvOID=4022&swLang=8&mode=2&taskId=135&swItem=MTX-d448c2384a2a46d997ec0af652

Regards,

I am seeing the same issue... so let me weigh in.

The Broadcom driver lets the BACS see the NC105, and have it ready for teaming. Unfortunately the second NC110T NIC is listed in the BACS as not supporting teaming.

For the record: In the native HP Network config, only the 110T comes up for teaming, and not the internal HP Broadcom NIC.

You need the HP NC-Series Intel N1E Driver.
- Select the OS on the following Link and download the driver:
http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/DriverDownload.jsp?lang=en&cc=us&prodNameId=3330591&taskId=135&prodTypeId=329290&prodSeriesId=3330590&submit.y=9&submit.x=3〈=en&cc=us
Have the same problem with teaming.

Have DL180 G5 Server with NC105i + NC110T. It is running Windows 2008 Server x64.

HP NCU (v9.30.0.19) and BACS could see NC105i ready for teaming only. Nothing about NC110T.

Any ideas?
