All,

We have a ML350 with a RAID 5 configuration. The disks are placed in Slot 0,1,2. Last week the Disk in Slot 2 failed and we replaced the disk. Normally the array is rebuilding and everybody is happy but not this time.

When I look in the Array Configuration Utility. The server see the replaced disk as a new unassigned disk using Port 1 ID 2. But the problem is that the server also see the failed disk at SCSI Port 1 ID 6. But this disk is not present in the server. We have done the following tasks to resolve the problem but none of them solves the problem:

- Rescan Controller
- Replaced the replaced disk with another new Disk
- Installed the latest firmware on the controller and disks

We tried to remove or add the disk using the Array configuration console client. But we receive a error that the command is not supported.

Do anyone have a suggestion what to do?
