DL380 G3 Tooless rack rails

Hello All,

I have searched part surfer and service manual
and quickspec for the tooless rack rails for
the DL380 G3 2U rackmount.

The rack is the HP10000 G2 series square hole rack.All the information points to third party
rack kits.There is no information on the tooless rack kit to go into HP 10000 rack.

My vendor is pulling there hair out as they
cannot find we are asking them for.

Please could someone help as i have several DL380 G3 racked in the datacentre which have the correct rails.

I found this part number

Hardware rack mounting kit 289570-001

and i found this other that says specifically it is for round holes:

Round-hole rack rail mounting kit 289572-001

Therefore I would recommend the first one.

Hi,

I will give that one a go.My Server needs
installing as my project is waiting for the
correct rails.

My vendor keep sending me the incorrect rails.

Perhaps the new G5 rails will work? They'll definitely fit the 10000 G2 series rack.

I only have DL380G4 and newer servers so I don't know what the server rails look like but if they are just flat metal it'll probably be alright.

You need to buy an spare part, there is no option kit for the rails

Server was racked yesterday.I recived the
correct rail kit under P/N given.
