I am building a new ML350G5.

Using SmartStart x64 I have followed the usual steps specifying Windows 2008 Standard x64. I get to the last step where it asks for the DVD with the Windows files on. When I change the discs then choose next it asks for the OS File Directory. If I just choose the root of the DVD it accepts this and just reboots shortly after. Windows then boots up stating it cannot find a DVD drive.

The DVD drive is SATA. I would have thought that SmartStart would provide Windows the drivers for that drive?

Any ideas?

Issue resolved. Did nothing different other than try again. This time installation has completed fine. Odd indeed.
