    <description>I have Compaq PL8000 Windows NT 4.0 SP6 and install Adaptec 29160 attached 3 tape drives  &lt;BR /&gt;1.Tape DLT 35/70 ID6(Int. Tape0) &lt;BR /&gt;2. DAT 20/40 ID 8 (Ext. Tape1) &lt;BR /&gt;3. DAT 20/40 ID 9(Ext. Tape2) &lt;BR /&gt; I can NTBACKUP all tape drives completed but Brarchive can initialize tape and save tape.hdr0 but can't backup archive transaction(problem only 2 DAT Drives but DLT Backup completed)  occured error massage  &lt;BR /&gt;BR278E Command output of 'dd bs=32k conv=sync &lt;BR /&gt;if=D:\oracle\TH3\saparch\TH31_7897 of=/dev/nmt1': &lt;BR /&gt;dd: unable to initialize ASPI manager &lt;BR /&gt;dd: using NT tape support &lt;BR /&gt;dd: The request could not be performed because of an I/O device error. &lt;BR /&gt;dd: write error: The request could not be performed because of an I/O &lt;BR /&gt;device error. &lt;BR /&gt;I was to try upgrade ASPI32 but I get same the error massage.  &lt;BR /&gt;SAP recommend to contact that hardware vendor when I contacted Adaptec he said "You need to contact that software vendor because NT backup completed " and when contacted COMPAQ he said "not support third party " &lt;BR /&gt;Please suggest me &lt;BR /&gt;Regards. &lt;BR /&gt;Santi. &lt;BR /&gt;Note. &lt;BR /&gt;DLT 35/70(tape0) backup complete but Dat 20/40(tape1,2) occured error massage.</description>
