topic smart array p400 error logging in ProLiant Servers (ML,DL,SL)

I am trying to find out if a controller on a HP ProLiant server (Smart Array p400) is defective, and would like to debug/troubleshoot to see if the controller is generating logs at a deeper level than is available though the standard logging methods. Is this at all possible? If so, could someone help me along the way?

Thanks in advance
Garth

Anyone have any ideas?

An addendum to the problem we have is that an Oracle database server is giving problems, and we need to be able to show that it's not the server that's giving the problems, but the configuration of the Oracle install.

Thanks
Garth
