Hi.

im newbie here.. so pls excuse me if this questions are basics for you..
1.- the P400 can be installed in any motherboard that is not HP?? for example, Asus.(i know this configuration will not be supported by hp or asus, i just want to know if works).

2.- According to the specs, the P400 use PCIe-8x, but the motherboard that i will use has only 1 PCIe 2.0 X16 slot. so, can i install the P400 over the PCIe 2.0 X16 Slot?? will this produce any issue?

Thanks !.
1.) I haven't tested this, but I cannot see any technical reason why it would not work.

2.) Yes, you can install it. No issue. You'll just be using only one-half of the total capacity of the PCIe slot, but this is supported by the PCIe standard.

MK
