      <description>Hi! You should change serial number if you want any management software (HP SIM for example) to correctly recognize the server in your infrastructure.</description>

      <description>One reason is for warrenty purposes.. You can't report an error to HP on a Spare-part serialnumber it has no warrenty... And if you send a log to HP it will say a diffrent serial number then that your warrenty applies to..</description>
