I've upgraded the cpu unit from an E2160 to E8400 core2duo. The bios has recognized it correctly, but now the CPU and System FAN are blowing at their maximum level. Is an BIOS update needed therefor? (currently 15.07.2008)

thanks,
the cpu is not listed. Listed is the Xeon E3110, very very similar to the E8400, but a Xeon.
The E8400 is still working. The only prob are the full working noisy fans. Can I adjust them? Temp by 47 degrees (celsius) ok.
