Does anyone else have issues with getting a console window using Firefox on Linux. it seems tailored to require I.E. It constantly complains about my Java versions and no matter which distribution I try; Fedora 9, fedora 10, CenOS 5, and even Solaris X86 ( Debian I finally got to work ) the Java console wouldn't display. these are new DL 360 G5's

Yup thats my understanding as well. ILO firmware is 1.6 07/11/2008.

As to the errors, either it hangs in the pop up window once you select the remote console ( third option from the top in the remote console tab ) with the "starting applet" on the lower left, or it says I need to install the Sun JVM but still wont work after I install it.

No guarantees - I happen to use an 8510w running Ubuntu Hardy Heron onto which I have installed the Sun JVM (perhaps Ubuntu did it itself, I cannot recall) and I am able to use the "Remote Console" without much difficulty. Just to be certain, you might consider removing all JVM's but the Sun JVM.

Of course this is the "Remote Console" not the "Integrated Remote Console"...

I've gotten rather into the "right-mouse-button-drag" to "join" the two cursors thing, and keyboard shortcuts are a great help.

Supported vs Works in HPspeak attached.
