5 days ago 1 disk of a raid 5 was in fail, i have called hp assistance and they send me a new har-disk, but the controller can't see it becasuse, the hp tecnichan saw, the controller has a old firmware version.
I have upgraded a smart array firmare ver 1.6 to 2.84, when serve is restarted recognise array but don't boot, i have try to replace windows but it see partition but degraded, someone can help me?
if i try to re-put the old firmware?

Hallo,
what is the meessage when you boot?
Try to Boot from SmartStart Disk and go to Array Config Tool ACU.
What is shown?

don't waste more time call HP again for support
