Thanks very much, Paul. I installed the software and configured SNMP and Event Notifier - it's working great now. Thanks again.

Keith

Hi

I've just set up an old ML370 G2 with Server 2003, but I'm not sure how to configure email alerts for critical events such as disk failures etc. Can anyone advise please?

Thanks very much
Keith

Install the latest Proliant Support Pack for the ML370 G2, Server 2003.

http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/SoftwareDescription.jsp?lang=en&cc=us&prodTypeId=15351&prodSeriesId=316593&prodNameId=3279713&swEnvOID=1005&swLang=8&mode=2&taskId=135&swItem=MTX-b7d372417c8c4a1f841c3f5e56

Once installed, Launch HP Event Notifer.
Configure your email server settings, and the email address where you want the alerts sent too. We send our to a distribution email address so all our engineers get the alerts.

I still have over 100 ML370 G2's in service. Great rock solid servers. Never had one fail in 8 yrs.
