ML110 G5 "Adaptec HOSTRAID SCSI Processor device" WIN 2008 SBS

I try to install one ML110 G5 with the internal SATA RAID Controller. All seems to be good but one device in the device mangager ist not known. All I see is the designation "Adaptec HostRaid SCSI Processor device". I can't find any driver for this device. The INF driver for the "unkown device" is already installed. Any idea which driver i should use ?

ML110 G5 as a Small Business Server 2008
RAID 1 (2x 500GB )

how did you install the os on the proliant ( with smartstart cd ) ??

I made an custom installation without any HP Start CD's
After this I had installed the WIN 2008 device driver manually.

hi,

I made an custom installation without any HP Start CD's After this I had installed the WIN 2008 device driver manually.

- that's common procedure to install, Windows Server XXX on the proliant servers, but not all devices will be recognized with the OS.

I always use the "SartStartCD", but i know the smartstart make a troble with installation of Windows 2008.
