I've installed Windows Server 2003 R2 on a Proliant ML-110 G5 server. I've been able to install all the drivers from the Set-up CD with the exception of two "Unknown device"s.

I've found one to be the "HP ProLiant 100 Series Servers Null Management INF Installer Smart Component for Microsoft Windows Server 2003/2008" - file cp008464.exe, but I can't seem to find what the other device is.

In the device properties, the Device Instance ID is ACPI\IPI0001\0 if that means anything?

Maybe it's the chipset driver?

http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/SoftwareIndex.jsp?lang=en&cc=us&prodNameId=3577715&prodTypeId=15351&prodSeriesId=3577708&swLang=8&taskId=135&swEnvOID=1005#11394

No, definetly not the chipset software. This was the first thing I installed.

Yes, I'd followed that thread closely.

I've removed the item in safe mode and tried manually the HP NULL IPMI Controller Driver, which has now worked!

Thanks for your help.
