ML 350 G6 server with UBUNTU 9.04 Server

We are installing ubuntu Server 9.04 in

ProLiant ML350G6(Tower Model) / Hot Plug LFF Model/(1) Quad-Core Intel Xeon E5504Processor (2.0GHz, 80 Watts, )/ 4MB Level 3 cache / 4GB (2 x 2 GB) PC3-10600R (DDR3-1333) Registered DIMMS /Embedded NC326i Dual port Gigabit Server Adapter / Smart Array P410i with no memory/ DVD ROM Drive/460 Watt Power Supply/ 4TB sata hard disks.

Installation went well. LILO starts and gives the following message

LILO 22.8 Load i Linux...............................
.............
.............
BIOS data check successful

PANIC: early exception 0e rip 10:ffffffff80226aa3 error 0 cr2 ffffffffff5fc0f0

How I can continue? Please Help me.

Hola, estoy realizando este mismo proceso en el mismo servidor pero un G5, y me da el mismo error. No se a que se debe, si usted logro resolverlo, agradeceria me lo indicara, por otro lado si yo logro resolverlo le voy a enviar la solucion.

Yes. We are using Ubuntu 9.04. I used amd64 iso. Now I am downloaded i386 iso and i am installing it. If anything, i will come back. Thanks

the ML 350 G6 is not certified to run a ubuntu on it.

Ok I tried with iso 386. Installation went well. On booting, it comes with this message

Officially the RHEL and SLES is supported :

The RHEL is binary compatible with CentOS, so it will be ok.
